O2 likes to please its customers and think the "extra mile".
O2 said the deal, which will have no cost to the taxpayer, will enable visitors to "make the most of what London has to offer".
The connection will also be very fast and it arrives just in time for the big Olympic Games taking places in Britain.
Another provider is planning to have 120 underground stations equipped with the easy access option.
So, most of us having smartphones with Wi-Fi connectivity will be smiling all along their visits this Summer.
Everything will be easier when in the English capital: QR Code access, time tables, Underground live updates, events' times and venues....etc
Also, when spending cash either in restaurants, shops or taxis it will be very fast and practical to check your regular savings account's balance with the mobile banking secure access.
Some people are living their lives hooked to a screen either computer or smartphone. With this temporary (and hopefully permanent) connection, it might improve their frustration when unable to access the "vital" information.
However, some individuals are opposed to wireless browsing: it creates a lack of real communication because everyone is tapping their screens, forgetting the real beauty of human interactions.
So, having free Wi-Fi can be a good thing for your wallet but is it actually not destroying the natural instinct of a daily routine? Are people becoming scared of each other and rather ask a virtual helper for their way to a museum?
Is something going wrong within the technology world? How did we live and manage 10 or 15 years ago without SatNav or GPS mapping?
Progress is good as long as it doesn't damage what is natural!
